Well, the art was fantastic that is what I can say. Sadly, the rest of the book didn't fully click with me. At times I was confused what direction we were taking (like with the monsters or the train or the moon), the story felt a bit like something was missing. It is a cute idea, but I think it could have been worked out a bit better.

This book just did not resonate with me. And I'm a sucker for family stories.
