When I was reading the last chapter I even didn’t know I was doing it. Really.
I loved it. I don’t know what to say, and now all of you know that this happens every time I finish reading a book, but this is different.
Thankful I have the third book right here so this is what I will do in the next hours: EAT IT.

"Where do you look for someone who's never really there?
Always on a staircase but never on a stair"

In this book, just like the first book, nothing happens for the first half... And then everything happens all together. The ending was promising, with an intense cliffhanger. The riddle and its explanation was smart. The mystery is getting more intriguing than the first book and I hope there is more to the explanation of the mystery because I will be disappointed... The mystery in general may be interesting but it lacks suspense and gradually reveals. We get everything at once.

The revelation at the end was big but was not enough. We were literary left with more questions than answers. It was not a clear ending, without clear solutions or explanations, we got only a part of the revelations. But I get it, it's because we are at the second book, not everything can get revealed so soon. Good strategy to get you read the next book. I really hope there is more to the past case... Especially in the motive of the past mystery. I expected something more wicked and twisted for a case that become the talking of the century.

The characters
Stevie is less annoying or I got used to her.. Maybe the second one. David... is trying hard to be a complex character but all he did was to become an idiot. A weird idiot. A weird, handsome idiot. The romance was still just instant-out of nowhere- attraction. Just kissing.. And a little more talking...finally. Nate is still my favorite. Him and his love for dragons:
"My motive is that I prefer dragons."
"To what?"
"To the absence of dragons.”

And Tunnels... Creepy, I like it.

i enjoyed this more than the last book, again the first kinda half was pretty slow but once we got to the big thing that happend around the middle it got pretty exciting. i foundmyself getting a little bored at the end again, but it ended on a really interesting. cliffhanger so i cant wait to see what happens in the next book. nate is still my favourite character, i love him, and i love stevie and david.
