I think this has to be my favorite book out of the series. I loved Cherry and Dante's dynamic so much!

The adventure in this was so much fun! It was almost like Cherry had her own Pokédex with the Book of Beasts.

I think one of my favorite parts was when
all of the demon men had their literal dick measuring contest with the book lmao.

Also
Rebecca being a demon was auch a funny twist! And also mildly horrifying because what do you mean the adorable fluff ball is turning people into zombies!?

I loved the return of the talking sword!
I seriously hope she gets her own book so she can get her own body and some mermaid booty.

The reunion with the family was also so sweet and had me absolutely sobbing. I love love loved that ending.

Also not to be feral butttt
the THRONE scnene was absolutely everything.

I need a new Mead Mishaps book ASAP. Tbh I kind of want Cumin to end up with Dante's sister. Or for both of them to at least get their own story or novella!

In conclusion I love Kimberly Lemming.

The pacing got really weird at the end? Overall a fun read, although I didn't enjoy it quite as much as the earlier books in this series.

I enjoyed this book! It wasn't my favourite out of the 3 released so far, but it was a good time! It definitely explored some important and interesting topics. And I loved getting to see the other characters happy in their lives and relationships.

This series is so much silly fun and I truly enjoy reading the absolutely bonkers books in it. Saved a Human has the adventure element that was kind of missing from Yeeted a Love Potion and I liked the couple in it a lot but for me it still didn’t quite live up to the first book. I enjoyed Cherry and Dante’s dynamic, plus I loved Cherry as a main character. Her instinct to immediately drug this guy to get him to help her made me laugh out loud, as did Dante’s subsequent bad trip. (Side note: don’t drug people in real life. It won’t get you a rich dragon-shifter husband; it’ll get you a jail cell.)

The side plot with Rebekah and the return of Alexis the talking sword were so fun. The only thing I didn’t really care for (and the reason I still prefer the first book) is that
I didn’t love Cherry’s quest to get home. I tried to understand her reasoning for not wanting to potentially open her family and hometown up to the wrath of a dragon but I could quite reconcile the logic. If I’d been kidnapped and kept from my home for 5 years, I’d be doing anything to get back to them. I also wish there had been a longer reunion between Cherry and her family. I was unsatisfied with her casual return when her family thought she’d been dead for years.

I’ll be backtracking to the companion novellas now and hoping that Kimberly Lemming continues this series forever because they are so much joyous fun.

Oh my gosh, are you kidding me? I loved this! I had no idea who this book was going to be about, and when I figured it out, I had to stop reading for a minute and collect myself, because I was so excited. This book was so fun and had all of Kimberly’s classic humor, her wonderful characters, the wonderful boohail, and so much more. We got to see Alexis and meet some new characters which was super fun. We got to wrap some things up from the past left on answered, and we got to see more smutty deliciousness. What a wonderful read, and I am left here in such a good mood :-)

That Time I got Drunk and Saved A Human is book 3 of the Mead Mishap series follows the story of Dante and Cherry after he stumbles upon her while visiting an old friend on a secluded island. The connection the two share will prove to be much deeper than fated mates as they travel across the lands in search of a unicorn.

Dante is willing to do anything to please his mate and Cherry is willing to do and say anything if it will get her one step closer to her home. However, neither of them are prepared for what trouble heads there way in the form of an enchanted sword and a stowaway cat.

I loved this book. I feel it is the most slow-burnish of all the previous books in the series so far. But readers really get to see Dante's character change in the presence of his mate which is something I really enjoyed. Cherry's character is very bold, conning and stubborn but she definitely does not scare easy. I think this has something to do with the fact that she was trapped in a castle for over five years, but that's just my opinion. We do get to see several appearances of familiar Boohill faces along with some new ones in this book and the laughs don't stop until the very last page.

I will say that if you plan to eat something around the last third of this book, you may want to wait.
