This was fun, cozy and chaotic in the best way. Dante’s loneliness made him one of the most sympathetic heroes in the series. However, I didn’t like how much of Cherry’s interest in him seemed driven by him being rich. She mentioned it a gazillion times. There’s also a sex scene involving Cherry in a metal collar and chain that just doesn’t work for me in a romance with a Black woman.

This was literally so funny I was laughing out loud. Cherry and Dante are such fun characters and I thought that their interactions were cute and funny. The way that these characters interacted really had it feeling realistic. This had me feeling for the characters. Don't ask me about the plot tho.

I think this has to be my favorite book out of the series. I loved Cherry and Dante's dynamic so much!
The adventure in this was so much fun! It was almost like Cherry had her own Pokédex with the Book of Beasts.
I think one of my favorite parts was whenall of the demon men had their literal dick measuring contest with the book lmao.
AlsoRebecca being a demon was auch a funny twist! And also mildly horrifying because what do you mean the adorable fluff ball is turning people into zombies!?
I loved the return of the talking sword!I seriously hope she gets her own book so she can get her own body and some mermaid booty.
The reunion with the family was also so sweet and had me absolutely sobbing. I love love loved that ending.
Also not to be feral buttttthe THRONE scnene was absolutely everything.
I need a new Mead Mishaps book ASAP. Tbh I kind of want Cumin to end up with Dante's sister. Or for both of them to at least get their own story or novella!
