This is a dark intense must read book.I just loved every single minute of it with plenty of twists and turns this had me hooked and I could not put it down.Mason and Nicole have been in love with each other since he was 14 years old but they have never acted on their feeling because he is her adopted brother her parents adopted him after his father killed his mum I really felt for Mason he was so worried he would end up like his Dad.But after dumping her cheating abusive boyfriend Nicole moves into her own place and she and Mason confess their feelings for each other and decided to be together but when Mason catches her ex-hurting her he puts the douche in hospital. Now the ex is going to press charges will these two get their Hea.This was a really good book but may not be for everyone.

This edition has three more stories. Torn was only 23% off the download, and that was all I could take. I made myself finish it out of a kind of can't-look-away determination. The grammar was bad. At first i thought it was a bad translation from another language, but finally decided it was just lack of an editor. I think the story had potential, but the author needed some direction.

I am not going to say anything about the story line (I don't think I could do a better job than the blurb, and spoilers suck) so I'm just going to tell you how incredible this one was. I have read most of Mr. King's books, and I love them, but this one is my new fave. The story is dark, the characters are broken, there is so much sexiness, and the emotions are all over the place. I highly recommend this one!

This is a brilliant book that I couldn't put down.
The book is full of emotion and so much more.
A forbidden relationship that both try to deny but it gets harder and harder to do.
Mason is very protective of Nicole but she keeps getting into abusive relationships.
Their chemistry is off the charts but can they be together.
This is a great book that you don't want to miss.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

A good read. Darker than what I've been flicking thru lately but that's ok - I've been searching for a book with a bit of a grip on the storyline and this one has it.

Mason is definitely a very misunderstood guy. But his way of dealing with everything is giving off such attitude that it's near impossible for people to get close.

Except for Nicole.

From the day Paul and Marie adopted mason, he's fought the emotions of caring that stir in him.

Nicole looks up to him. This is clear yo see in her actions while in school. And when he comes to her rescue when bullies get physical with her, it cements Mason as her "person" in nicoles life.

However, the two don't realise this and it takes disastrous turn of events to occur and life changing and threatening moments for these feelings to finally slot into place...

But the battle is far from over.

A very well written and well approached storyline by the author to a difficult subject. Such a fine line to be able to tell it just right.
The fear, nausea, and sheer helplessness that Nicole felt in moments was palpable thru the pages and tore st your heart.
But as much as your heart cried for them, it also sang when happiness flowed from the pages.

recommended to read but please be aware that it does contain a trigger.

Mason is Nicole's adopted brother. Mason struggles with his anger issues but his attraction to Nicole still lingers. How long will Mason hold back his feelings while Nicole is going through an abusive relationship.
