A cute ending to a cute series, but this book was just too cute and sweet for me. And OMG the SHEER AMOUNT of pregnancy in this book is beyond words. So. Many. Babies. I lost track.

A few small things:
- It didn’t feel like Henry’s gift was integrated into his relationship in the way other hero’s were.
- hearing Clara speak her mind and have a bit of a cheeky side was great, but I wished she had a bigger role in this book besides “Henry’s cheerleader”
- It was really a “sunshine and sunshine” romance, rather than a “sunshine and grumpy person” romance.

All in all, there’s nothing wrong with this book, especially if you like super romantic, lovey dovey novels. It just wasn’t for me. I do like this author and will read more of her books if she writes them.

I love this series SO MUCH! Clara and Henry’s book is the one I’ve been looking forward to the most and it didn’t disappoint. It was just as adorable as I was hoping it would be!

I can’t believe I’m writing this right now. This is the last book in the Stay A Spell series and I couldn’t be more heartbroken to reach the end and part ways with the Savoie family. This series has inspired me, uplifted me, and given me a love for closets that you could only understand if you’ve read the books.

Grim and Bear It is both Clara and Henry’s story and I’m so happy that it was written this way. Not only do we just to see more of the grim world but also real life issues through Henry’s relationships. I loved seeing the matter-of-fact-ness in Clara and how confident she is when she wants something, she’ll make sure she gets it. It was also beautiful getting to see the other sisters and how they’ve grown, there were some extremely meaningful Easter eggs towards the end that had me in tears (happy crying) and Clara and Henry together were everything I needed them to be.

The plot and the problem that the characters face together kind of hits you in the face. The way this was written out, I was NOT expecting that and I think Juliette did such a good job of surprising us while also giving us what she knows we want to see and answering questions we’ve been asking for MONTHS. I’m so proud of her and I hope you enjoy how it plays out.

I can’t write this review without talking about the spice but I want everyone to read it with no expectations or hints so I’ll just say, there were lots of fun, spicy surprises in this book that I was LIVING for!

Tropes include:
Grumpy/sunshine
Fated mates
He falls first
Reincarnation
Praise
Found family/Blended family
*also spicy tropes that I don’t want to spoil*

Reminder/CW: there are babies in this book and each child is wanted and adored
