Expertly written. It's much more abstract than many of Shakespeare's more widely read plays. The Tempest has a special place in my heart

La tempesta di Shakespeare è un'opera particolarmente densa di significati e offre numerosi spunti di riflessione.
Sono tanti i temi trattati: la libertà e la schiavitù, il perdono e la vendetta, la magia e la realtà.
Tuttavia credo che con questo dramma Shakespeare abbia voluto darci una lezione importantissima, e cioè che solo attraverso la tolleranza e il perdono l'uomo può riuscire a essere davvero libero.
La tempesta ci insegna che l'uomo può riuscire a ottenere giustizia anche attraverso l'astuzia e non necessariamente con la vendetta.
"Siamo fatti anche noi della materia di cui sono fatti i sogni; e nello spazio e nel tempo d'un sogno é racchiusa la nostra breve vita". La vita è troppo preziosa per sprecarla covando odio, cercando il potere, alla fine solo l'amore può realmente rendere la vita degna di essere vissuta. Shakespeare ci mostra che la vera magia è la capacità di trasformare la realtà con la propria intelligenza e creatività.
La vera magia è l'ingegno creativo di un uomo che continua attraverso i secoli a ispirare ogni generazione.
