I really went into this after watching the film and was still taken aback by how much it's emotionally destroying me. and this is just the beginning! why do I do this to myself!!!
while the film is still very near and dear to my heart (being one of the best representations of social anxiety I've ever seen on screen), reading the manga is a whole other experience because of how much extra detail there is as opposed to the film. of course, the film's limited runtime means they had to cut some things out, which is expected in adaptations, but those extra details really enhance the story for me and let me appreciate it even more.
I'm not ready to get into the next volumes oh my GOODNESS.
