Riordan is a smart asshole. He lost my respect when he made the decision to let Jason die, but i would be lying if i said that i didn't enjoy this book. I loved this way more than the Burning maze, I loved coming back to Camp Jupiter and i've never got bored during scenes or anything. Apollo and Meg are amazing, Apollo's development is mind blowing, their relationship made me cry and it made me laugh... Oh Gosh, I laughed so much. Seeing Frank again was spectacular. He grew up so much, he is so different but true to his previous self, it was amazing. Hazel became more badass than ever, I adore her. As to Reyna... here it comes the bad part. NO NO NO. I found her sad, resigned, tired. I discovered a new side of her, that I didn't know existed, and i really hoped we would be seeing her happy and satisfied but instead... Instead she refused love, she left Camp Jupiter and she joined the hunters which is so- unfair. It looked like Riordan didn't know what to do with her and having her have a boyfriend would be to cliché so sbam bye bye Reyna let's become immortal and disappear in the wilderness. It was sad. Especially because Reyna bonded so much with both Frank and Hazel, and i really felt like Riordan didn't want her to feel included or part of their group. I'm so angry.
With that being said, let's hope the next book will finally put an end to this universe, let's hope everyone will be fine and happy and satisfied and healthy.

OK, BUT RICK RIORDAN HAD ME FOOLED THERE FOR A SECOND AND I WAS ABOUT THROW HANDS WITH HIM. But, seriously Rick Riordan never fails to impress me or make me laugh, and I'm so sad we only have one more book of chaotic Lester. :(

Ngl compared to the third book this one kind of fell flat a bit, but it was still a banger. The end of the series is drawing near. This was the transition book we needed to go from the third book to the fifth, like we don't rlly need to talk much about this one.
