Thoroughly enjoyed this one. It involved the FBI, one of my favorite subjects, and a great investigation with a couple of good twists. I loved the main character, Nathan McBride, who was your usual rough and tough ex-military guy now doing private consulting, but had enough vulnerability to make him a little more "real" and extremely likable. The suspense was good too, and I'll probably read more by this guy.

A solid, page-turning thriller

Great story, lost of twists and turns, and good writing. I look forward to the next installment, whenever I can get to it.

This was a great action adventure book! Similar to Jack Reacher except this guy isn't a loner - he's got his best friend, co-workers, clients, former military friends, etc. I'll definitely read more of the series!

Solid - will read the next book

I was looking for something to read during my summer vacation and this was perfect. Interesting enough that I was always happy to pick it up but not so engrossing that I couldn’t put it down when the family wanted to go swimming. Be warned it’s got some gruesome bits.

I read it because it was free for the Kindle. I really liked Nathan as a character but there were moments that dragged.

A former CIA/sniper/now private contractor must deal with domestic terrorists inadvertently set up by the FBI during an attempted "sting operation" gone wrong.

I liked this book. I would call this a guy's beach read that even a girl could love. Fun, fast paced roller coaster ride with two snipers going after the bad guy.
