So I think this had a very strong beginning, but the end was a bit lack luster. I just felt like we moved through this story too quick when this had such great potential for its own full length novel.

Fun cheesy prequel to the series. Quick read. Almond moms and old fashioned dieting topics.
Spicy scene was fine and quick.. but I just can’t with “my hot liquid center” 😂 cringy dialogue

Cute novella in spite of escalating weirdly fast

Not sure at what point romcom chicklit and erotica became one in the same but aside from the quick escalation from meeting to sleeping together, it was a cute story. Having just vacationed in Key West, it was fun having actual places I could visualize while reading.

Releasing a novella about characters that haven’t been introduced in a story yet is a pretty ballsy move.

This reallllly didn’t have the Meg Cabot spark that I know and love. The main character was irritating and unlikeable. There was a lot of telling instead of showing. The setup was nonexistent and the hook-up came out of nowhere.

I’m hoping all of it will make more sense when No Judgements is released but I’m uneasy.

I pre ordered this not realising it's only 50 pages long...whilst it was a reasonably fun and very quick read, I can't help feeling like I was duped into buying what is a short erotic fiction essay rather than an intro to a rom-com series. It's neither romantic nor comedy. It was okay and held my interest to the end, which isn't difficult with a half hour long book, but I didn't really like the main character much. She was pretty jealous of some dude's (who she'd only just at that moment met) hypothetical, attractive girlfriend, she described people as crazy, nuts and psycho a bit too much and was really unpleasant about other women's looks and weight. I don't think I'll be buying the next book in the series.
