Transgender History provides a helpful overview of trans history in the US. There was a heavy focus on the decades that challenged trans identities the most, as well as a heavy focus on feminism. I wish more sections were expanded upon, but a lot of the movement is intertwined with feminist movements and clashes and recent politics. I feel like this book needs another revised edition since 2017.
