I couldn’t stand any of the characters in this books. The heroine is weak. She favors a doormat and the H is just constantly shitting on her.

I picked this book because I love the secret baby trope but I did not enjoy this at all. It was so drawn out. I love the push and pull between the MCs usually but this was not that. The entire book Isaak is telling her she means nothing to him. Obviously we know that he’s a liar. But she continues to sleep with him while he treats her like a live in prostitute. All their interactions were just not fulfilling. I’m not reading the second book in the duet. These characters are one dimensional. I do enjoy an asshole alpha but this dude takes it to another level and I don’t think l can go through another round of this MC.

OMG. This book dragged me out of my book slump. LOL

UNPUTDOWNABLE!!! It was intense, twisted, fire, full of secrets. There was a lot of arguments. Huge a-hole, alpha hero. I love a mean hero so maybe that's why I was sucked in and couldn't put it down. Lol

Isaak and Cami met when Cami was on a blind date. He stepped in to "save" her. They had an intense steamy scene in the bathroom, and then she was kidnapped right after. Her life changed whether for the better or worst, you'll have to read to find out. Lol She ended up pregnant, and haven't seen Isaak for 6 years. They met again on her wedding day with another man. Have to say, this was barely at least 20% in or so, and so much more happens.

Diving into book 2 right now!!!

Umm the sex in this book was HOT. For whatever reason the author did an amazing job and whew great job. The start seemed to be typical, girl gets pregnant, boy doesn’t know, they reunite years later. Twist is that she is in wit sec and a foreign country. The drama of the Russian mafia and his unwillingness to change and do things differently is frustrating. You can feel them both grow into their feelings for each other. It will be interesting to see where it goes in the next book.

So good

This book will hook you from the beginning. It does suck that one of the secondary characters gets killed I would have loved to have seen more of them. But it is still a must read with a crazy cliffhanger.

Mafia romance. I did like it, but it was fast, then slow, then fast again. A couple of twists and turns. There is a second book, but the blurb and reviews gave everything away.

The best part of this book is that the female is in her 20's. The Male is written well with hot interactions. Lots of mistrust and not telling how they feel leads to lots of fighting which got tiresome to a point.
