Really enjoyed this little two part mystery!
The relationships / interactions between all the characters were a joy to read, especially after finding out about all the historical tidbits about Houdini and Conan-Doyle that they were inspired by.

Also I just have to say, this interpretation of Watson and Holmes might be my favourite I’ve ever experienced, Polly Guo just nailed it here! These two have such amazing on page chemistry together, portrayed so well through both the writing (loved their back and forth letters in particular!) and visually through their body language when together or even when they are just talking / thinking about each other in separate scenes. You can just see how much these characters care about each other.

Also the little mini comic and sketches in the back of the book were just the icing on the cake, just the cutest! :) I really, really hope we get to revisit these two again, and Houdini and Bess too for that matter! Absolutely adore both couples!
