Very strange and a bit different from Carver's other stories. It was fun to firstly be like ??? about what was going on, and piecing things together as it progresses. Interesting resolution!

Listened on audio, well narrated with a measured style that suited the weirdness of the story. Probably 3.5* really. Not sure I liked it, not enough to read another by this author. It was an interesting concept I guess but didn’t really thrill me that much.

A nasty kind of story, in a good way, about the inhabitants of an old building with a dark history. It's hard to talk in any more depth without giving away spoilers but it's a grisly story that's written well. Probably not for everyone but i liked it.
