A really conclusive ending. I wish classic Poirot had been more present, but I'm glad we did get him and Hastings together for the end. This plot felt the most modern, and wasn't my favorite.
And the regular content warnings continued to apply through the whole series!

I don’t care that Agatha Christie hated Poirot, she was racist anyway. I love Poirot, and cried when he died, and think him a much nobler character than Marple or Holmes. This is not one of the better Christies; her unceremonious treatment of Poirot’s death is egregious to me, and his complete change of character, lacking in flamboyance and unintentional humor, makes it one of my least favorite of his stories. But it is still undeniably a Christie-Poirot story, and in that way it is beautiful and sad and wonderful
