I don't know how these books always have such a new and exciting adventure every time, but I'm not going to question it too much. The pacing was great and I loved the adventure.

surprise nerds, I bet you'd thought you'd seen the last of my Legend of Drizzt reviews

Overall, this was a middling to fair entry in the series. Plot-wise I feel like it could have been better, but I loved the characterization / character development. Once again, I would call Drizzt my son. But he's older than me and can take care of himself.

I also didn't expect the commentary from Drizzt to be politically relevant in the year of somebody's lord 2024 but damn

Returning to the Legend of Drizzt series after exploring other authors' works took some time, but there's a comforting familiarity to it. Streams of Silver, while still well-written and action-packed, falls slightly short compared to its predecessors. The focus on Bruenor Battlehammer over Drizzt, and the introduction of Artemis Entreri, shifts the dynamic. While it's not a personal favorite, it's still a solid addition to the series, and I'm eager to continue with the next installment. Three stars.

I'm really enjoying this series. Friends lost in this one but three remain.
