Chicks + surfing + math = cowabunga calculations!
I like the concept of math incorporated into picture book stories like this but I wish they had formatted the layout differently. I would have liked to see the math problem presented on a spread but the answer not revealed until the reader turns the page. This would give them a chance to figure out the answer before it is revealed.
