Read this back in the fall for school and noticed that it was made into a book. I need to hit my reading goal somehow. Although, I do recommend. This speech has now made me want to read some of his other books. He writes very passionately and poetically.

This text - this speech changed the way I view the world. This is THE graduation speech. This got me into David Foster Wallace, his life, his text, his thoughts - his mind. To be there and at that level of insight, that level of pain, that incredible oratory and eloquence is unrivaled.

Great talk, not great book. The one sentence per page layout is stupid.

A great little essay is about finding meaning and transcendence in the ordinary. However, it does feel sad and challenging with the irony inside the work.
