The book tells the story of the Riva family - 4 siblings mostly raised by the older sister after the mother dies. Their father is a famous singer. I couldn't figure out if he was based on Elvis or Johnny Cash or someone else. But he was very famous and he never supported them at all.

We learn about all 4 siblings in the past and present, as well as about the parents in the past. All of the side stories were interesting. I would recommend this to most people.

Loved this audiobook! I was sucked into the story right from the beginning and finished it quickly because I couldn’t stop listening.

This book was phenomenal. The Riva family has my heart, except Mick Riva. He can catch fire.

June, my heart breaks for you, rip

Nina, go get that life in Portugal

Jay, you straight up did not have a good time, but you’ll be alright

Hud, go be the best dad ever

Kit, you’re gonna be become a knockout on the board and queer surfers rule

Casey, welcome to the Riva family

Mick, just leave like you always do
