4 stars.

There was a lot going on in the first half of the book that left me with more questions than answers. However, overall, I loved the main couple they were so fun, full of chemistry and i think this book was a pretty good read.

My only problem with the book was the lack of background information. We hardly knew anything about Levi and we never see what happens with Krista’s family -although i’m not sure if i want to know what happens they aggravated me so much. Also there’s a mention of an age gap between Levi and Krista but it’s never mentioned how big/small. There was lots of confusing points within the book i’ll be honest but the 2 main characters had me hooked and i was eager to find out more about them.

I definitely found a new author I love!!

This wasn’t my favorite of the series too much stubbornness lol but that’s my own personal issues

The best of the series by a long shot. Krista is my favorite character in this world and I loved seeing her vulnerable and navigating the complicated relationships in her life. While some of this seemed a bit far-fetched, the practical things (like sports contracts) were plausible - if only because I don't know much about how it actually works - and from personal choices made by different characters. Do I think her family is awful? Yes, but those choices could very well be made by real people. Maybe it's just me, but I definitely aged Levi up in my head to make this make more sense. I understood everyone's motivations and actions and adored the main relationship. Strong 3.5/4.

6.21am // 3.5 // i know ive only read two books from the series so far and both have been around three stars for me but i really hope there's more book or at least a spin off. even if it's not mind-blowingly incredible i still enjoy odette stones writing it's very easy and quick to read i like it.

My rating of this series for me personally goes 2, 3, 4, and 1. These are a very easy and fast read. Not sure if there will be any more books about the Vancouver wolves but I would be on board if there ever is another ine in the series.

i need to meet krista’s family and personally hurt them myself. i know that she is the incredible force of nature she is because of the familial dynamic she grew up in that forced her to take charge of her life the way that she did but watching her make herself small and apologetic for people who would never appreciate her could never not make me want to scream. hits a little tooo close to home. the injustice is violently vitriolic. levi only broke the motherfucker’s collarbone, i would’ve done worse.

also, levi is too young.
