Kiyoka and Miyo grow close. However, Kaya is after Miyo's happiness, while Minoru Tatsuishi is after her powerful bloodline.

Koji was out of pocket with his murder suicide thought though.

It’s great to see the slow burn of this plot developing and feeling Miyo slowly grow. However I do feel the world building is quite lacking - like why is spirit sight so important? Why is it just certain circles where that matters?
