Levy captures all the nuances of not just RBG, but also the times in which she grew up (a book mentioning the other demographics discriminated in WW2? in ww2 USA? and so on) and laws, in an easy to digest format, fact full words pointing the reader to other resources, and sweet comics. I love this, so well written. So happy to see high quality biographies in comic book form.

I love that graphic novels can teach us things in such a fun way. They are so accessible and readable for teens (my fifteen-year-old got through this particular graphic novel before me — typical!). I think adults should read graphic novels, too, because they are just such a great way to learn something!

This book is a biography about Supreme Court justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and she’s pretty much my new hero. I loved learning about her.

I also really liked how this book was designed — it’s got a lot of text and information in some panels, and uses a neutral palette with pops of red to show emotion and emphasis.

Definitely check this book out if you or your teen (or even pre-teen) is interested in learning about the Supreme Court or feminism.

This graphic novel details the life of RBG starting from when she was a young girl all the way to the supreme court. Includes information about various cases she fought for and her life growing up.

This book does a great job of giving history of RBG but also on what the world was like when she was a kid. It does a great job of showing what was happening while still focusing on her story. My biggest issue is the art; it's mostly blue with red accents and I'm just not a huge fan of that style. This is a great recommendation for someone who wants to know more about RBG but doesn't want to read a long drawn out tale. Also a great recommendation for a reader who's adult wants them to read a 'real book' and they want to read a graphic novel.

A smart and cohesive graphic biography about RBG covering major points of her life.
