I enjoyed this book overall. Starts out a little slow but picked up at about chapter 15 or so, overall would recommend!

Really glad I picked this book up from the prime day special (Amazon Prime first read 2022). It wasn’t an easy read just due to the sensitive subject matter. There was points I had to take a break because I’m already a sensitive mess of person and idk why I think my heart can handle this. EMOTIONAL DAMAGE. But I have to give props to the author. It was well written, kept my interest and completely broke my heart. The characters felt so real and relatable. You could see yourself in these young girls or your little sister or your friends. And that is the true magic and heartbreaking thing about this story.This is my first read by this author and I’d definitely consider reading more of her work. But I’ll probably read a few happy things in between so I can recover. 4.5 stars ⭐️

The writing style really isn't for me but if you can look past that, the story is very interesting! This was a great little thriller with lots of hints thrown in so trying to solve the crime is fun.
