I really enjoyed this book! I thought it was funny in spots, some drama in others, and I loved Cooke Thompson. I became invested in the other characters and I hope there are future books involving them.

Good

I like books with a heroine that has a bit of insecurity it fines her worth in the end. I listened to this on audio. Good book

Held my attention from the start. A good read after going through a minor slump.

My only issue was the fact that I hated how Quinn "talked to the reader". It feels weird.

I wish there were more chapters from Cooke's POV.

Listened to audiobook. Not a fan of the narration. Cooke's voice was not what I expected. Voice sounded like it was a fake English accent even though the narrator is English.

But, now this book came to me, and said: "Don Corleone, give me justice." But it didn't ask with respect. It didn't offer friendship. It didn't even think to call me Godfather. Instead, it came into my house on the day my daughter was be married, and it asked me to read it. And it offered nothing but dissapointment, self pity, cliche and bad writing.

DNF

It might be the writing style. It could be my headache, but I got two chapters in and decided to quit.
