This book had me absolutely mesmerized from start to finish. It’s is captivating, emotional, riveting and absolutely ripped my heart from my chest. She brings you so close to the characters that you feel like you know them personally- or better yet- may be one of them. The twist at the end of this book had me sobbing and thinking about it for days after I had finished it. Jodi is by far one of the greatest writers I’ve had the pleasure of reading.

It's nobody's fault, and it's not a big deal, but it's a little depressing all the same. A photo says, You were happy, and I wanted to catch that. A photo says, You were so important to me that i put down everything else to come watch.

I really enjoyed this book for the first 3/4 of it, but then it took a turn for the worse.

The surprise ending makes this book worthwhile. This is the only Jodi Picoult book that I felt wrapped up the ending perfectly. Other books that I have read by her, have ending rather abruptly, and tied together the lose ends, far too quickly. This was not the case for this book.
