Really well-written, Gabrielle Zevin is a great writer, I just don't think the content was for me at this time

As much as I liked the writing style I hated the characters--- which I know was the point. It was somewhat painful to read, like seeing a car accident about to happen and being unable to stop it.

I love Gabrielle Zevin , but not one of her best. It seemed that the author really wanted to write about the one character, Patsy, but felt she had to flush out the family situation, to make it a novel.
