Really is about yoga and the inner path to just about anything, wealth or otherwise, definitely recommend especially as an introduction to chakras

I don’t know why people keep recommending his books. The sections about composers made me rolls my eyes hard… basic lack of understanding of both music history and how “talent” works. And R. Schumann only wrote 40 songs in a year while manic and in love. Mozart was trained from birth.

Anyway I think this is my last attempt at one of his books. Slightly better than the last one I couldn’t finish.

ABUNDANCE: THE INNER PATH TO WEALTH by Deepak Chopra

Perhaps mistitled or at least a bit misleading I was looking for a book about ABUNDANCE and THE YOGA OF MONEY. And while that is included in the text I believe the majority of the book focused on your chakras.
Specifically healing and balancing them. It gave a lot of information on each chakra and explored imbalances and treatments.
There was a section on THE YOGA OF MONEY and it talked about the spiritual concept of money and of ABUNDANCE, it just wasn’t its main focus.
I really enjoyed the coverage of the chakras and I learned a lot more about yoga as a spiritual concept.
I gave the book ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and felt it would be helpful to readers on any part of their journey.
I wanted to make it clear that there is a big part of this book that isn’t being marketed and it may appeal to a wider range of readers than it initially suggests.

Thanks to Penguin Random House Audio for this advanced listening copy!

Side note: Listening to Deepak speak and narrate this book is quite an exceptional experience.

This book was not the same level of thought provoking insight that your normally feel after reading a book by this author. As an avid Deepak reader, you can definitely skip this book, you will not miss anything.

There are definitely some take ways from this book. This book has more of his thoughts from other books and then he adds a segue to abundance. The inner path to wealth is not clearly obvious in the book; it is more of a random thought dropped in after several Deepak yoga quotes.

This book is not for anyone who is a fan of Deepak and friends’ books, you will be let down.
