Entertaining read, didn’t think was quite as good as the first book, but still enjoyable. The characters are likeable and the e is good chemistry but I just thought something was missing

I really enjoyed this one as well. The pacing was a bit different with four 3rd-person POVs instead of two, but I really enjoyed it. The different POVs made me feel even more immersed in the story. And I really liked Gareth and Rhys' chapters a lot.
I wish I could've learned more about Torin and the relationship he had with his children. It's hinted at in the first novel, and expanded upon in this one, but I would've liked even more. I also would have liked to know more about Hollis. The questions I had about her character at the end of the first book weren't really answered in this one either.
All in all, I really enjoyed this duology. I really liked the world and the relationships, and I really hope we get more stories from this world. I'm sad there's only two books!
