This book picks up right where the 1st one ends. This part of the duology focuses on trying to live life outside the cult, trying to find yourself, and finding a purpose. This was a book about destiny and not letting circumstances define who you are.

This was such a beautiful love story with very sad circumstances and history. There was so much emotion written in the pages. I loved the return of the characters you loved in the 1st book, even the ones you loved to hate. The ending was perfect and felt complete. I felt like all the questions I had while reading were answered, and loose ends were tied up, even the messy ones.

5 STARS!!!

I have no words to describe how perfect this story is. It's so complex, so complete, so beautiful and tragic...

Mia has a way with destiny. It makes you believe that there are truly people destined to be together, and things are mean to happen so everything falls into place.

I loved every second of this book as much as the first one. I'm glad the author released both books at them same time, and she divided the story, because you can clearly see a huge change between both books and I think it was necessary to separate them.

This was the perfect conclusion for this amazing journey. It's perfectly written, and I couldn't stop my feeling from being all over the place. Every question was answered, taking it's time, the pace was perfect, the timing so right. I liked the secondary characters we get to know here, and the way everything was explained made me live every situation along with them

I fell even more in love with Calder, and I adored his relationship with Calder.

Mia Sheridan is no doubt one of my favorite characters and I can't wait to read more from her. I loved all her books so far, and each time she gets better and better. This time around she risked a lot by creating this kind of scenario and background story, but in my opinion she succeed.

Everyone should read this wonderful and beautiful love story, so unique and full of everything, it will leave you breathless and satisfied and amazed.

The end deserves a good 4 star.

"In the end, beauty had taken over. And when we walked away that day, it was only beauty that was attached to our hearts."

Oh my gods! A thousand morning glory stars if I could.

There are not enough superlatives for this series (this + Becoming Calder). An emotional journey with a really epic conclusion.

Goes to show that happiness found under extremely dire circumstances is the best kind. I have to applaud the author for a very compelling read. It was beautifully written. Happy tears all the way.

So I had to think about this review a bit, the story was tragic, and every time something sinfully unfortunate happens to Eden or Calder i got soooo angry and sad like "come on, SERIOUSLY??" How can they keep getting so unlucky! But the words and constant epic quotes of faith and continuing on your series of unfortunate events was uplifting and the sex scenes were.....eh hum..... Extremely.... Heated (sexy, sweaty, woah) I did enjoy this book but I also expected a little more storyline

"I'm yours. I've been yours since the beginning of time."

To say I loved these two books would be an understatement. As a whole, it is one of my top three reads of the entire year. Mia is a beautiful storyteller. She utilizes symbolism in such an amazing way and it flows throughout both books. I wanted to crawl into these books and live. There are no words that will adequately convey how these stories affected me; you have to experience it first hand to truly appreciate its beauty.

"Maybe if you find the love in any situation, even the most horrifying ones, maybe that's where God is."

While I loved Becoming Calder, I was not prepared for the intensity I felt for Finding Eden. I had chills throughout the entire book. I kept thinking to myself, "This is why I read!". It has been a long time since a book moved me like this one. The first 25% is absolutely breath stopping. I was literally sick not knowing what would happen. Mia Sheridan has created a magnificent story no author can surpass in 2014. If you pick just one set of books to read this year, let it be these!

Finding Eden is the second book in the Acadia duology and somehow even more powerful and emotional than Becoming Calder, which I adored so much. Filled with heartache, trauma, healing and love, Finding Eden is so bittersweet. Following on from the end of Becoming Calder, this delves into the tragic aftermath of an unspeakable tragedy and the journey of Eden and Calder's healing.

Eden and Calder were destined to be together. Nothing can keep them apart. This story hit me hard. Calder's unrelenting loyatly and love of Eden is admirable and has my heart. Eden's unwavering faith in Calder is even more beautiful. I genuinely don't have the words for how much I adored this duology and I hate that it took me so long to pick it up. But I did in the end, and that's all that matters. I got to share int he love of Eden and Calder, and all that they were forced to overcome.
