"I'm yours. I've been yours since the beginning of time."

To say I loved these two books would be an understatement. As a whole, it is one of my top three reads of the entire year. Mia is a beautiful storyteller. She utilizes symbolism in such an amazing way and it flows throughout both books. I wanted to crawl into these books and live. There are no words that will adequately convey how these stories affected me; you have to experience it first hand to truly appreciate its beauty.

"Maybe if you find the love in any situation, even the most horrifying ones, maybe that's where God is."

While I loved Becoming Calder, I was not prepared for the intensity I felt for Finding Eden. I had chills throughout the entire book. I kept thinking to myself, "This is why I read!". It has been a long time since a book moved me like this one. The first 25% is absolutely breath stopping. I was literally sick not knowing what would happen. Mia Sheridan has created a magnificent story no author can surpass in 2014. If you pick just one set of books to read this year, let it be these!

Finding Eden is the second book in the Acadia duology and somehow even more powerful and emotional than Becoming Calder, which I adored so much. Filled with heartache, trauma, healing and love, Finding Eden is so bittersweet. Following on from the end of Becoming Calder, this delves into the tragic aftermath of an unspeakable tragedy and the journey of Eden and Calder's healing.

Eden and Calder were destined to be together. Nothing can keep them apart. This story hit me hard. Calder's unrelenting loyatly and love of Eden is admirable and has my heart. Eden's unwavering faith in Calder is even more beautiful. I genuinely don't have the words for how much I adored this duology and I hate that it took me so long to pick it up. But I did in the end, and that's all that matters. I got to share int he love of Eden and Calder, and all that they were forced to overcome.

After the way the last book ended (or began, you could say), I was so worried and anxious. We knew from the beginning that everything was going to go horribly, catastrophically wrong. Ane after everything that the characters went through, I just wanted a happy ending. And I wanted some questions answered.

This book was very satisfying. And while there are some things that are still a mystery, they're a mystery to the characters as well and I guess it's because they're meant to be. I got most of my answers and I can except that some things will never be known.

I'm really happy with this book and this duology. It was unique and beautiful and it will stick with me as some of those unforgettable books. Maybe this will be the kind that I can't help but pick up every once in a while to reminisce about or maybe it'll be the kind that I never read a again, but will remember forver anyway. It could go either way.

I highly recommend this small and wonderfully heartbreaking series and I also recommend this author.
