Torturously slow beginning with an abrupt ending. A lot of build up for so little pay off.

This book’s intro was way too long, but once Catalina made it to Paititi it was more enjoyable

Written in Starlight was beautiful! ✨ I still can't get over how the author describes things. It's gorgeous and I can picture it so vividly. I loved the sense of adventure in this novel, traveling through the jungle and encountering all sorts of obstacles. I loved Catalina and Manuel's story and journey. I loved the magical elements, Luna and the creatures. The part with the caimán was intense! And I have to mention, the cover is gorgeous!! Loved it.

A great companion novel to “Woven in Moonlight,” I definitely preferred this one to the first book. The plot was very well thought out and developed, the world building was good. I loved the characters!

I enjoyed the first book and was quite excited to see Catalina’s journey in the sequel but sadly I didn’t really enjoy this one. I didn’t like Catalina’s character and I felt like she had so much potential for improving, which we did get to see in the last two to three chapters, and also I didn’t like the romance part in this one. Chaska’s character was the only thing I enjoyed while reading this book and I couldn’t believe we never got to see her wake up after everything that happened.

Did not love it as much as the first volume. While I understand that Catalina is a bit unlovable and super spoiled and that we're not supposed to like her 100%, I was hoping for more adventure and less focus on the romance.
