Two of the biggest questions people have when it comes to bridging the Last Airbender series and the Legend of Korra are usually revolving around Toph Bei-Fong.
1) how did she go from massive rule breaker to massive rule enforcer?
2) who did she get with to produce two talented daughters?
One can argue that a lot of both of those questions can be answered in Avatar: The Last Airbender - The Rift, but I suppose this lil comic can put some punctuation on the answering of those statements.
At the advice of our "favorite" singing hippy, Toph might have had the seed planted in her mind to possibly enforce laws in a lawless city, if only to challenge herself as she did back in her Earth Rumble VI days.
And a talented lavabender shows up to add to the list of potential suitors for the tiny bruiser.
I dunno man. Canonicity aside, was still a good story featuring my favorite character from the series.

A nice little story about Toph and her metal bending academy which was introduced in pervious avatar comics

It was short and sweet

What a fun little adventure!
Toph is restless now that her Metalbending Academy has become a well oiled machine. Sokka, Suki and Penga, Ho Tun, and The Dark One all try to help in their own ways. In the end, we get a little bit of unexpected wisdom from Chong (aka 'Secret Tunnel' guy) and of course a little action and adventure on the way.
The Avatar universe continues to delight in even this latest graphic novel. Kudos to the creating team once again!
