This is the third book in the series of stories about letters. This book takes a little more serious note.
I thought this was a really moving story.
It deals with coping with grief and it is very touching both for the squad and the family. The relationship develops slowly, its not insta love though there is a bond both share that grows and this seems natural.
It also has some funny moments when Alicia has been writing to her brother and he shares some of her antics with his squad.
Sadly this seems to be the last book in this series but Maryann Jordan has written lots of books so there are plenty more available and some new ones coming.

this was a cute, quick easy trilogy to read. Sad to see it end - I might have to check out some of her other series.

Love. Love. Love ... what I don't love? It's too short (it's a novella) and I want more Ben and Alicia! This is the last book in the Letter From Home series. You don't need to read the other earlier books, this is a standalone but I highly recommend reading them. The first 20% of this story made me bawled ugly tears, my heart ached for both Ben and Alicia. Through grieve, they found love and I have to say that eventhough I truly like all the MCs in this series, Ben is my favourite.
