WOW!!! This book had me hooked from the very beginning. Any kind of hockey romance you can sign me up for, and this was nothing short of my expectations. Easton freaking Blake y'all!!! I could not put this down it was just that good. This book had me crying, laughing, and swooning throughout the whole thing. Easton reminds me of Nate Hawkins and that alone had me falling even more in love with this book.

Maya was burned by her ex who just happened to be a hockey player so she has now sworn off all hockey guys, until Easton comes along. There was no miscommunication in this which I LOVED!! The aspect of grief in this book because I understand how Maya felt. Grief is never a one way street it has tons of twists and turns which I think Veronica showed that perfectly within this book.

This deserves all 5 stars and more! If you love hockey, forbidden romance, and he falls first this is THE BOOK for you!

And I loved this book. Easton was book boyfriend PERFECTION! He fell first and was thoughtful, attentive and wasn’t afraid to tell Maya how he felt. There was a lot of amazing spice and dirty talk with Praise

"Every second spent with you is my favorite."

Easton is a hockey captain who sees Maya a sister of his rival at his hockey game and falls for her instantly. Maya has sworn off hockey players and tries to push Easton away but that doesn't work. Easton becomes infatuated with Maya and does everything he can to win her over. From the beginning Easton and Maya both had so much chemistry. I loved how he put Maya first no matter what especially when she loses a family member. They helped each other get through grief together and I loved that! This was such a great book. I can't wait to read more books by Veronica Eden.

-Hockey player
