Thank you to Valentine PR and Julia Wolf for providing me with an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review.
This book was so good. I loved every minute I spent with the characters of Luciana and Beckett.
Luciana and Beckett are both younger siblings to characters who get their own romances in the Savage U series which after reading and loving this one I absolutely need to get to.
This book had so many elements to it I enjoyed, it was a sports romance where both of the characters were athletes, it had the hero falls first trope and when there was miscommunication between the characters they would actually talk things out shortly after in the next chapter practically instead of avoiding the other character for moths because they believed something about them that wasn’t true for chapters on end.
This books writing style is one I also enjoyed and reminded me of the way Elle Kennedy writes in her Off Campus series.
Lastly an element I enjoyed about this book is how the characters and some of the scenarios actually did remind me of high school.
I would like to add that I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who likes a romance where the hero falls first, some sports and lastly if you don’t mind reading a book where the characters are in high school as I know for some that is a deal breaker.
