A great glimpse into both the mind of Virginia Woolf and the women who wrote before and contemporary to her.

a very interesting mix of essays on women and writing. many insightful quotes to consider and a focus on some of the most iconic female authors of all time, such as jane austen. it was especially fascinating reading it 100+ years after virginia actually wrote the essays to compare what is still relevant and what has changed.
