Overall I enjoyed the story and got lost in the lives of the characters. The part where Charlie and Ryan go to a party in Spanish Harlem felt off to me. As a “Latin” person, I didn’t like how the Latino characters were described, felt very one dimensional. And I honestly cannot imagine a party where young people would be dancing to mambo.
That was the weakest part of the book for me.
