I would have rated this book higher because it was a sweet and cheesy fun book by the end but the main girl was just so annoying and all her reasons for being mad at the guy just didn’t make sense. I wanted to quit reading halfway through.

"Trying to be angry at Lucy is like being angry at a bunny for having too fluffy of a tail. It's impossible. I just want to feed her carrots and make her happy."

SpoilerSarah Adams has quickly grown into one of my favorite romance authors and I've enjoyed every single story I've tried so far. I've been looking forward to read The Temporary Roomie ever since I finished The Off Limits Rule; I loved the fireworks between Jessie and Drew in book one and it sounded like it would be hilarious to see them pitted against each other. The enemy to lover trope can go both ways for me depending on how well it's executed, but I have to say that the whole development of the relationship was spot on here. This second book has lots of fighting, pranks and banter to keep you entertained, but the story also has a sweeter side to give it more balance. I had a brilliant time reading this one, and I liked how everything wrapped up in the end. Easy to like characters, brilliant banter, great writing, no real sexy scenes... What more could I wish for in a romantic comedy?!

I love Sarah's Rom-coms! This is my second and it was so fun. I loved all their interactions. It was a fun storyline with a single, very pregnant woman and a doctor as roommates because it benefited both. Great enemies to lovers! I love Drew!

So she’s pregnant and fake dating her bbf brother. When she’s introduced to the brothers friends wasn’t it going to be awkward being pregnant. Like that’s my baby, that’s not my baby. I mean you could’ve picked someone else to take to the event. Like the coffee girl. This book was annoying.

The main character was annoying and the plot was boring. I only finished this book out of spite.
