I have no idea why I own this book, but it's awful. I DNF'd at 43%. That's further than my courtesy 10%, because I tried to keep going; I really did. And then I realised I was wasting my life on yet another predictable, boring, derivative romance--and one with sexist undertones, no less.

Boo.

The story was cute but I didn’t love the style of writing. It’s like if a hallmark movie were a book. The dialogue and character thinking is a bit awkward, nothing is very developed. But if you want a very easy read with a hint of mystery, it’s enjoyable.

Hilary is Beth's[ from the first book] friend. And this read pretty much gets the same review as the first book :p A short, sweet and easy read.

Just as cute as the first one, even if I’m not usually interested when all the characters are so nice.

A really cute, easy to read book. There were somethings that got wrapped up as though it were an afterthought. It’s a little out there in terms of a story line but you want to solve the mystery and have a happy ending. This is a quick read so if you’re sitting around bored on the weekend and want something lighthearted, I could definitely recommend this!
