This book is what Addie Larue was trying to be. Including the authors note at the end; Schwab did not address anything of that nature throughout her book or in an authors note. If you were disappointed by Addie, like I was, I recommend this book.

This book was a quick read (I got through it in one day) and I think part of the reason it felt felt that way was because the plot was pretty interesting. I do feel like the ending was a bit rushed, and it would have been nice to learn more about some of the relationships between characters so that I could feel more invested in the ending. I do think it’s meant to feel like a glimpse into the main characters world at a very intense time in their life, and that makes it hard to tell the full story of their relationship with someone without making it a super long book. So, I’m torn.
