challenging informative medium-paced

Chapter 1: Dole talking about how we ignore ethics of Jesus and in fourth gospel he does some bad things .  Decrease of people studying Bible secularly, historic languages like Hebrew.  Didn't happen with Greek for instance so no oversight.

Chapter 2: love your neighbor really love your 'own' people, agape love in NT is really Lord/vassel- you love me if you do what I say

Chapter 3:. Luke 14.26 Jesus says to hate all to be my disciple

Chapter 4: Matthew...not here for peace, need to not put family over me, apologists trying to talk down Jesus whipping money changers in the temple

Chapter 5:. Atonement...sacrificing Jesus for us?

Chapter 8: cite Luke about caring for poor but that's from Isa 61.1-2, Jesus tells woman bathe him in expensive oils instead of giving to poor

Eco-Hostile:. Jesus allows demons in pigs then let's them plunge to death, sacrificing animals, lamb for passover
