The trees in your orchard ... They give that they may live, for to withhold is to perish. ~p. 22

By the same power that slays you, I too am slain; and I too shall be consumed. ~p. 24

You delight in laying down laws, Yet you delight more in breaking them. Like children playing by the ocean who build sand-towers with constancy and then destroy them with laughter.

But while you build you sand-towers the ocean brings more sand to the shore, and when you destroy them the ocean laughs with you.

Verily the ocean laughs always with the innocent. ~p.48

Go to your fields and your gardens, and you shall learn that it is the pleasure of the bee to gather honey of the flower, but it is also the pleasure of the flower to yield its honey to the bee.

For to the bee a flower is a fountain of life, and to the flower a bee is a messenger of love, and to both, bee and flower, the giving and receiving of pleasure is a need and an ecstacy. ~p. 80

A must read book. One usually read for pleasure or wisdom, this book offers both of it. The language is so enchanting and extremely neat. The message beneath all the tales is incredibly helpful especially to those who in need of simple guidance in various elements of life. Go get one, buddies.

This book is a guide to life disguised as a collection of poems. No words can describe the value of this book other than
Between what is said and not meant, and what is meant and not said, most of love is lost
