I had four hours left on the audio book, but I think after sitting through 26 hours of this BS that I can claim this a work done. So freakin stupid. American Dad going through stuff connects with women who gets murdered by some syndicate. He comes out of retirement to take them out one by one like some bootleg undercover bond but its so freakin boring who cares?

I've read Tom Clancy now and I can say he really blows.

I earned an easy next read gosh darnit!

This is a difficult book to rate for me. I enjoy a good military action novel, with the caveat that I'm aware most are going to lean much more authoritarian in content than I am myself, politically. I can still enjoy 24, for instance, while being fully aware Jack Bauer is an authoritarian neocon. Without Remorse goes much further. Jack Kelly is a violent vigilante and the people around him seem to support his authoritarianism. This is a book without heroes to me, and that doesn't necessarily make it bad. Just... interesting. I enjoyed it, for the most part.

Solid book. Good action, good plot and characters. It was a tad predictable and in the end everything just wrapped up "too neatly" for me. The authors other books are better but definitely a good read.
