Gorgeously illustrated, shows what Diwali is.
My issue is that there are a Lot of 'vocabulary' words, and there is No glossary.
It might be great for a collection where there is an existing Hindu/southeastern Indian population - but needs a good deal of 'splainin' for libraries in the hinterlands. I created a glossary with pictures to make the book more approachable.

This sweet and colorful picture book celebrates the "sacred and joyous" holiday that is Diwali. I learned a lot about this beautiful holiday and loved the vibrant collage artwork.
