It was a really good book and story - It left me crying, but I have to deduct half a point for being a bit repetitive when it talks about how Rune and Poppy act around one another. Definitely read this.

Beautiful love story that i’d no doubt had given 5⭐️ if circumstances were different.

I wish I had known the topic covered in this book prior to reading (my fault for not checking)

Maybe in the future when the topic of
terminal illness at a young age
no longer stings I can pick it up again, but for now I have to DNF

Check the TW’s

I’d like to start off by saying that i think this book was beautifully written, especially the ending. However, i just couldn’t fall in love with it. I think the main reason why i just found it too cringey and unrealistic, which is way i struggled to emotionally connect with the book. We didn’t really see much of Poppy and Rune’s story, just that they met and instantly fell in love. I also found the fact that none of them ever loved anyone else extremely unrealistic.

This book had the characteristics for me to fall in love with it, but sadly it wasn’t wholly my cup of tea.

I absolutely loved this book and as promised it made me cry multiple times. I loved watching their relationship and the rawness of the storyline.

The only minor complaint that I have is that characters names are overused and sometimes it makes the story feel a little disjointed.

Overall though, it's a brilliant book about a difficult topic that I highly recommend anyone read.
