Disclaimer: I did not choose to read this book on my own, it was recommended to me.

Davidson writes his story well, it's just not one I wanted to read. I don't understand how this is considered a love story. A depressing unrealized one maybe. The main story is depressing, the side stories are depressing. I generally read about 100 pages a day. It took me 2 MONTHS to finish this book. I could read about 25 pages and then I had to switch to something more upbeat.

Gut wrenching, brutal, and raw. Such a beautiful story of love. Unforgettable.

I really enjoyed this book. The interlacing love stories were so lovely to read and their relevance to the story was well considered. I did feel the relationship between the two main characters in the current day could have done with more development however I did enjoy the focus on past storytelling. Slow in a few places where explanations were very detailed but overall lovely yet dark interesting and romantic read.

I was so surprised by this book. I saw a review saying that it was a great listen as an audiobook so I got myself a copy. I loved this book so much! The narrator does a great job and the characters are all so unique and the storytelling and descriptions… I could just go on and on

This is one of my top 5 favorite books. The emotional love and depth of the characters is unmatched. I loved the idea of meeting despite past lives.
