OH my freaking god!!! Have I ever anticipated a book so badly before. Answer is no!!!
This book was the book I read this year.
One thing I really liked about this read was that I got the thoughts of character I wanted to know Badly what she thought. Luna is so interesting!!!
While reading Leigh made it that ever was able to get why the characters did what thy did!!!
The story was written perfectly an amazing balance between good feelings and moments that make us cry.
There were moments where I wanted to hug the characters and in in some I wanted to shake them.
Like in every story Leigh wrote till now I was able to get the massage in her words.
The style of writing improved since the last book. It was so fluently ro read. But I don’t want the story to end so god a few pages back only to have longer to read the whole book.
I never wasn’t able to see what’s coming next. There were so many plottwists.❤️
I was totally caried away in this book and UNABLE to put it down I wanted to to know what’s going to happen next.

Knight is actually the guy who is loud to the outside of the world and seems to be happy but there so much more behind this facade. He feels deep. He loves hard and he fights for those who he loves. Also he can be mean.

Luna is really good girl. Who I can be friends with easy. We would have fun together. I really enjoyed the way her thoughts go. She was so fierce abd her point was so important to me.

If you’re searching for a book that rips you freaking apart abd glues you together within a few pages than you’re totally right here. God this author never cases to amaze me with here work because ever book is a freaking masterpiece for it self.
Ten of five possible stars for this masterpeace of work.

“I received a review copy and I voluntarily provided an honest review. This does not affect the opinion of the book or the content of the review."

This story put me through the ringer. My heart was in my throat the whole time I was reading. My feelings were all over the place and I am emotionally EXHAUSTED!!!

“There will be no one else, Moonshine. I will never let you get over me.”

The angst was so off the charts between Knight and Luna. I wanted to shake some sense into both of them for the way they treated each other in this story. Oh how my heart ached for Knight in this story. I wanted to reach into this book and fix my broken boy.

This book has become my new favorite by LJ Shen. It was raw, emotional, heartbreaking and heartwarming. This is definitely LJ Shen’s best book to date. The writing was flawless and passionate. I had tears in my eyes while reading and I had to take a break to compose myself. I have been in a book slump as of late and this book just put me into book hangover territory.

Loved it!

Have to admit, this isn’t my favorite book by this author. The hype surrounding this book had me expecting more. I got it in the last 30% but felt a little disappointed in the first half of Knight and Luna’s story - too much of the same thing over and over again. That being said, I loved the book. This author really knows how to write and capture her audience to the point you feel like you’re a part of it all.

This book is a hot mess- the FMC is a selective mute who rejects the advances of the MMC three times. The MMC ends up retaliating by making it look like he's hooking up with other people when in reality, he's a virgin and wants her to be his first time. The FMC moves to college and ends up giving her virginity to someone else. The MMC finds out and is enraged and then she starts talking to him. I don't know if she ends up talking to everyone else after this because I'm not going to finish.

This book was amazing! I loved both main characters and their flaws. It's also well written. I experienced so many different emotions and even found myself re-reading part's. I definitely recommend Broken Knight!

I knew this book was going to be an emotional roller coaster. I knew it was going to hurt me, yet I still read this book. The most angsty emotional book I have ever read, and it has destroyed me. Part of me didn't want to read this book, but the author, who I have read everything by, was a strong draw. Every book that she writes, she gets stronger and a writer, you can see it, and feel it.
The characters take us back to Todos Santos California, where we get to visit old friends and make new ones. You feel like you are right in this book, and yes Knight is indeed broken, probably more broken than even his father Dean Cole was. Let's face it, the Cole men are hot mess express. This book drags you kicking and screaming through the gutter, and makes you whole again by the end of the book. This book is told in multiple POV.

"With Luna, I was in fucking everything. Love. Lust. Obsession. Take your pick."

So, this follows two best friends: Luna and Knight (Trent and Dean's kids respectively). Luna's a year older and goes to college on the opposite coast. This primarily follows them over her first year at college and when she returns for breaks.

Now, there's a lot of toxicity and mutual pining between the pair. I mean, Knight is kind of obsessed, as you can see from the above quote. But he's also a bit of an a-hole (yes, there's cheating). Half the time I was like... do I even like these characters? 😅 It was a rollercoaster.

But then the ending was sad AF and it made me bawl my eyes out at close to midnight so for that it gets at least three stars. I don't make the rules.

One of the things I appreciated the most with Broken Knight was the glimpses we got of Knight's and Luna's parents... While I enjoyed their story, I also found them to be less believable as characters. Especially Knight...
