Entertaining, want to keep reading, but not thing wild or crazy about it. I mean crazy things happen but they don’t feel heavy like my usual 4 or 5 stars do. I liked it better than the first though so that feels promising!

I cannot get over how good this book is! Tory and Darcy have decided to stay in Solaria and fight for their place among the Fae! They aren’t going to let the torment of the celestial heirs keep them from magic or their inheritance. As they approach the Reckoning, they slowly start to chip away at each Heir by turning their admirers against them and giving them a taste of their own medicine. Between Pegasus rumors, melted treasure, fleas and Griffin poop the payback is oh so sweet!

The book gives us more rich Solarian history and deeper character development making it that much harder to tear myself away from this world. Our loyalty keeps shifting as we find empathy for the terrible heirs.

We get to see each Heir in a New light though which gives us insight into what drives them to be so horrible to the twins. And while it doesn’t excuse what they’ve done it does explain it a bit and we find that the real bullies are their parents, the Celestial Court.

Oh and the spice gets significantly hotter in this book! There are a few encounters not only for Tory and Darcy but there’s a multiple partners orgy and some a adultery thrown in there. And I will say I DEFINETELY know who I’m hoping end up together!!!

This book ends on a cliffhanger and leaves us with more questions than answers but I’m not mad about it. I can’t wait to see what comes next and how the story unfolds.
