I love the primary DAYS OF FUTURE PAST story and had this just been that, I would have given this 4 or 5 stars. Part of the problem is that the DAYS story-line is only covered in a 2 issue arc. However this book is packed with additional crossover issues that are not easy to follow - especially once it gets into the whole Franklin Richards/Rachel Summers plot. They didn't exactly lose me, but they did lose my interest quickly and I found it a chore to keep going (although I did because I was hoping somewhere along the line it would pick up again). It almost redeems itself near the end with a more recent "prequel" series.

So as a whole, I am forced to give this book a low rating. DAYS OF FUTURE PAST itself though is still great.

Four stars specifically for the "Days of Future Past" story line--which, as other reviewers have noted, only actually encompasses two issues (141 and 142). The rest of this trade is largely forgettable, but I found it worth reading the whole thing just to get to those two issues.

Very fun. I listened to the Graphic Audio version of this and it was very well done and entertaining. The storyline was interesting, but overall I don't really understand why we needed to go back and forth between the past and future. Once the future was established, it really only seemed like the past was the important storyline and the future didn't matter. A fun read to finish out 2023's ABC challenge

Tocaba relectura de esta minisaga para recordar y ponerse al día con la peli que están rodando. Puede salir algo muy grande. ¿Saldrán los 4F?

This was a nice interesting classic mad all the better by comparing it with the movie. It was very cool seeing the differences between the writing styles of then and now it has changed quite drastically.

Me demoré más leyendo este que los anteriores, pero se debe a que este tiene una historia mucho más elaborada... y eso me encantó

The actual Days of Future Past story is great, but it only makes up two of the issues included in this collection. The other issues are kind of meh. In particular the first one is basically just Cyclops recapping all the stuff that's happened in a very long-winded internal monologue at Jean Grey's funeral. It's incredibly boring. The other issues were all various levels of okay, but not really anything spectacular. There seemed to be a lot of internal monologuing going on, which lots of it seemed completely unnecessary and tedious. This collection is worth it for Days of Future Past, and the other issues in it are pretty skippable if you don't have the patience.
